Barely 24 hours after the demise of the ex-governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi, it was reported this morning that another icon is gone.
The Emmanuel Alayande College of Education was thrown into a sad mood as the death of the school bursar was announced.
Alh. Lukman Adeniyi Opasina joined the service of Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, Oyo (formerly St. Andrew’s College of Education, Oyo) and rose through the ranks to be appointed by the Oyo State Government as the Bursar, Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, Oyo on May 16, 2014. Prior to his appointment, he had served as the College Assistant Director/Finance and Chief Internal Auditor.
He was born on April 5, 1960, Alh. Lukman Adeniyi Opasina attended Ilora Grammar School, Ilora, Oyo State. He was a product of The Polytechnic, Ibadan where he had both OND and HND Accountancy. He topped it up with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and a professional qualification/membership of ANAN.
The remains of the College Bursar, Alh. Lukman Adeniyi Opasina has been committed to mother earth in a private cemetery at Ibadan.
